DESCRIPTION:An afternoon of collective storytelling, reflection, and care centred on mental health within Bristol’s South Asian community.\nTogether we’ll ask:\n– What goes unsaid in our families and communities?\n– What support do you wish you had access to?\n– What are the ways you’ve been cared for?\nThe session will open with a short somatic grounding exercise and group agreements, facilitated by Aisha Mirza (@uglyinahotway) — writer, DJ, artist, and community organiser. Aisha is the creator of misery (@miseryparty), a mental health collective, outdoor education programme, grief space & sober club night centring healing for queer & trans people of the Global Majority.\nWe’ll then move into an open floor of storytelling — a chance to share experiences in a supportive, held environment.\nJoin us in this space to collectively share chai, memories, hold grief and dream together. In the words of Rumi, “Where the lips are silent, the heart knows a thousand ways to speak”\n
